Rock River Energy Services Co. is a licensed Energy Broker in Illinois and Texas. We are located in Oregon, Illinois, and are a Women-Owned Enterprise. We have been licensed with the State of Illinois since 2005.
We have Agents in Rockford, Freeport, Byron, Oregon and Belvidere. We cover the ComEd and Nicor and other natural gas service territories as well as several communities in the Ameren electrical and gas market.
We work with the smallest of customers, from one room churches to the largest of manufacturers. We work with Villages and Municipalities and School Districts of all sizes. We work with Hospitals, Grain Facilities, Church Camps. Customers, big or small, we are interested in them all.
Energy Acquistion
Our primary focus is on customer energy acquisition and lowering energy costs in deregulated markets. We work directly with energy suppliers to find the best deal for you. However, we work for you, not them.
We disclose our fees at the time of the contracts. Not all Brokers do this. We operate on volume, not margin, and run a lean operation, which benefits our customers.
Customer Service
We also focus on customer service, and can provide service to customers on billing issues. This is part of our service, and we do not charge for this. Often, customers know something is wrong with their billing, but they don’t know what. With our utility experience and training, we can help. The utilities and suppliers respond to us.

We work with various suppliers who purchase blocks of energy directly from the wholesale market. We find the best rates and terms for our customers based on their historic usage and usage patterns, and match with the best supplier for them. Remember, we work for our customers, not the suppliers or energy companies.
